She'll be massively missed but hopefully everyone'll let her know how hugely grateful we are for the SEVEN years of amazing art and hilarious Drawfee-ing. Can't wait to see what she does next!

When trans masc athletes start winning competitions regularly, they'll ban them too and use the excuse of "doping" to do it. That blows up their whole "biological sex" argument though.

Three smiling transmasculine athletes stand arm-in-arm on a rocky beach. The person on the left wears a black and white cycling jersey reading "BODIES ARE NOT BANS," black cycling shorts, and holds a transgender pride flag draped over their shoulder. The person in the middle wears black swim briefs and has a finisher medal around their neck. The shirtless person on the right has multiple tattoos, wears black running shorts with a small trans flag patch, and is holding up their finisher medal. The individuals in the middle and on the right have visible top surgery scars.
The logo for the publication "them" is in the top left corner. Large white text overlaid across the bottom of the image reads: "A Transmasc Ironman Trio Won Third Place in a Relay, Beating Over 200 Other Teams by Mathew Rodriguez".

Mayor-elect Mamdani: The city's inability to provide child care means that businesses often have to provide stipends for that child care. The absence of universal child care means that a family will pay around $22,500 a year, and it is time for city government to step up to the responsibility

There’s no reason ever again for any Democrat to suggest moderating on trans rights. There was never a moral reason but now there’s no political reason either. Somebody tell Gavin Newsom and Pete Buttigieg. it’s joe-ver.

BREAKING: Starbucks workers have just authorized a massive strike. Union Starbucks baristas voted to authorize the strike by 92%. Now baristas in over 25 cities could launch an unfair labor practice strike on Thursday, November 13th.

Mamdani: "New York will remain a city of immigrants, a city built by immigrants, powered by immigrants, and as of tonight, led by an immigrant."

Okay now that election day is over and Zohran is gonna be Mayor From watching people during Eric Adams' mayor run, some people hated him just because he's Black, like he does the same shit as Cuomo and they like Cuomo over him I've been wanting to say this since 2021

Wow, morning Joe is actually grilling Jonathan Greenblatt over accusing Mamdani of being antisemitic and pushing back hard against the baseless accusations. Amazing what an electoral mandate will do.

Mamdani's victory wasn't only a repudiation of an old and exhausted political establishment in the city, it was also a triumph over the framing power of the political press, and none more so than the New York Times, whose coverage and editorials worked relentlessly to dampen his appeal.

Breaking the 12 year long GOP supermajority in Mississippi seems like a big deal. A bunch of Black women mayors seems like a big deal. Can’t wait for the hot “How Democrats winning is bad news for Democrats” takes.

Painting LaGuardia as a fiscal conservative by citing his initial struggles upon taking over New York at the height of the Depression requires you to also paint the New Deal as fiscally conservative, eh? The New Deal was democratic socialism in full and LaGuardia embraced it. You're a pretzel here.

You'll hear this "Mamdani loves LaGuardia... and LaGuardia governed as a socialist" refrain a lot in the next few weeks, and it ain't true. LaGuardia governed as a New Dealer within the limits of city govt; his first step in office was to cut staff and salaries $ to bring NYs budget into balance. /1

Just some perspective from having worked on Zohran’s first campaign back in 2020: the man is detail-oriented, brimming with ideas, respectful of people’s time, believes in our capabilities, nourishes success.

Progressives need to make activism not just worthy but also fun. You did an impressive job of both. I hope many learn from your courageous, and often very funny, example.
