one of the old tricks of drawing four-panel comics is drawing the last panel (the gag) FIRST, then working backwards. i'm drawing a loooong comic, and what i've found naturally helpful is to still draw the last panel of the page first.
badly done and very brief little guide about contrast when thinking about composition! this is really just the tip of the iceberg, but it is something i think about a lot! if you take one thing from this, its that composition is ALL about relationships between the elements. (1/2)
