MAGNEDETH

I am MAGNEDETH, a Vice-Webmaster of Bulbagarden and former Editor-in-Chief of Bulbapedia. I am also unquestionably the #1 Magnemite fan.

Devastated to hear about the passing of Dolly Parton. Not just an icon of country music or music in general, but an icon of humanity. A woman who was proud to be herself and unquestionably helpful and charitable to others. The world is worse without her but undoubtedly better having met her.

Yesterday, someone I follow reposted an ad with an AI burrito that was so hideous and disgusting that it has genuinely been haunting me. Its visage pops into my head randomly to gross me out. I'm not mad at whoever posted it, I'm just baffled the company that made the ad thought it was acceptable.

If the HOA has a problem with it, they can talk to me by finding the right tongue to push in the room of gargoyles, choose to climb up or down the mine shaft, find the secret switch in the trees of the swamp, and ring my doorbell by assembling the silver monkey. Hope they can avoid my temple guards.

Olmec from "Legends Of The Hidden Temple" with the words, "I can't wait for the HOA to see what I just bought."

A while ago, I complained that too many YouTubers are loud and shout at the viewer. I feel like this type of video creation is thankfully on the decline. But apparently not in the Pokémon community because every time YouTube suggests me a Pokémon video and I dare to check it out, I get yelled at.

I watched the finale of The Amazing Digital Circus and I definitely have some opinions on it. But my overarching opinion is that the show is very good. I expected zany antics, but was met with some very well handled explorations of deep topics. Can't say more without spoilers, but I do recommend it.

I knew they made Pokemon Legos but I didn't know they made Cubone specifically, so we had to get this set while out shopping today (it helps because Gengar is one of Pat's favorites too!)

It's sad that the best I can say about Twitch's AI training is, "at least we can toggle it off." It really shows how much corporations don't care that their own users screamed at them to not do this, and they not only did it, but have it toggled on by default. Fuck you, Amazon.

Mountain Dew replaced their KFC "Sweet Lightning" with "Sweet Lightning Honey Peach." The old drink I found to have a sharp and weird flavor. I wasn't a fan. This new one is quite muted and not particularly impressive. So I had the KFC signature lemonade instead, which was fine, if a bit sweet.

Pictures of labels on a self-serve soda fountain. The one on the left is Mountain Dew sweet lightning honey peach. The label is very colorful with a lot of yellows and Orange. Very vibrant.
On the right is KFC signature lemonade with a gray and yellow striped background. Very boring.
