That’s me telt

Well the structures that govern World Football might be about to collapse around us, so my own feeling iffy about #NUFC 's season might have to be put on the back burner for abit

If FIFA go full-commercial entity, then all the finance rules are out of the window. Can’t stop a club from spending their own money if your governing body is a normal business as that is restraint of trade. Hence UEFA shitting the bed and coming out swinging.

Mark Douglas (@MsiDouglas) RT @NUSCuk: A little insight to the return of KK It’s publicly reported everywhere and quoted that KK never came back to NUFC but under the radar his friend Graeme Forster took him in last year - the Academy final day before they broke for summer. It was (1/5)

Bruno hired Kia. He hired someone to make a move happen. I understand and respect his reasons for wanting to challenge for honours. He might not kick off like Isak, but he wants away and looking at the sales/replacements so far it seems we’re committed to a full rebuild. #nufc

But are they? Has there been an official bid for Bruno? This whole thing is a mess, designed to stir the shit. I don’t know if the club are bending the truth or if it’s from the arsenal side.

Sunday goal for all NUFC fans - please, come to terms with the fact that Bruno is leaving. He (or his team) could’ve put an end to the speculation instantly - that they’ve chosen not to tells you everything. He’s been incredible for us, but everything ends. Let’s look forward. HWTL #NUFC

It's been a busy day Bluesky, you have my sincere apologies for how long you've been waiting for some stats about #NUFC 's newest summer signing. Aladji Bamba is a 20-year-old French defensive midfielder who is right-footed & who is 194cm (though some places have him listed at 181cm) 1/ 🧵

Lads. It's entirely possible that NUFC have some signings ready to announce but they feel the timing isn't great, given our collective grief. It's a heavy time for us all, we've lost a member of our Geordie family and (for lots of us) a defining childhood hero.

Newcastle United's UEFA settlement agreement dropped this week. Hyperbole followed. Reality? They're restricted but have already made some of the largest sales in English football. And most clubs need to sell well now. Cutting the noise w/ @chrisdhwaugh.bsky.social www.nytimes.com/athletic/745...

TLDR: everything stays the same, but if we beach the 70% squad cost rules in 2026 (we wont) then it might get tricky next season if #nufc qualify for europe

What we know/have worked out: - #NUFC have no uefa squad for 26/27 so the transfer net positive rule doesn't impact us - if we stay within the 70% SCR in 2026 calendar year then there wont be any limits on the UEFA squad A list next season (if we qualify) - as Gordon and Tonali sales and
