It's genuinely wild seeing people praising RatM and Dead Kennedys but also insisting that the late 90s Democrats weren't trying to be "Republicans only more compassionate and better on a few key issues." Apparently paying no more attention to the lyrics than MAGA punk fans did.

Lol, just had someone claim that Kamala is popular with young people, because they're apparently still living in 2016. Kamala is popular with a subset of people who were young(ish) a decade ago, and are, as is typical with linear time, a decade older than "young" now.

The firestorm of age-verification laws have done almost nothing to prevent minors from accessing porn online. What they have done is give the state a powerful tool to harass speech they don't like by declaring it pornographic or "harmful to minors."
