How playing Zero Parades while resisting the temptation to save scum feels
Finally played @despelote.game. I held off because I knew the love I’d have for a game that set out to capture a specific time and place like 2001 Ecuador would actually pain me. And it did. It’s beautiful. I thought a lot about my own early 2000s childhood in Sudan. Brilliant. Inspirational. Damn.

Writers - do you change your gaming habits when have to hunker down? Currently finding myself gravitating toward difficult games that don't send my dopamine receptors into overdrive. Feeling content with ~30 minute sessions with Soulslikes and Marathon. As someone who binges games, it's a change!

I love Resident Evil Requiem so much. Sort of blown away with how much I enjoyed it. It’s got narrative quirks that don’t make much sense upon further reflection and perhaps leans a bit too hard on nostalgia, but the overall package is so high quality and so fun. Oozes with style. Capcom leveled up.
