Just finished #TheBurnLine by @jonnysims.bsky.social . Ghoulishly good. A snapshot of a rather specific moment in time amidst heat wave and horror. A really compelling cast, a strong current of 'fuck you, capitalism' (join a Union, everyone). Drenched in atmosphere. A thoroughly London spook tale.

At least once a year I rewatch Hannibal or relisten to The Magnus Archives, and I think that says something about me.
Civic duty done. Get out there and vote, people. Vote for better nations. Vote for hope and aspiration. Vote for kindness. More than anything else, vote for what's in your heart. Not what tactical voting guides tell you. Vote for something, not against someone else.
At this point the only reason to call it the Labour Party is it lasts too long, hurts like hell, and people keep popping in and out to check on your genitals.
