So, it started when I saw Frank watching Jujutsu Kaisen and it was about this group of X-Men who get their mutant powers from "curse energy". Then they just started watching Tokyo Ghoul, where this group of X-Men are called "ghouls" rather than mutants.

Learning about Shounen anime from @frankentine.bsky.social and it sounds like every shonen anime is actually just the X-Men? But they all have different names for their unique superpowers and call them something other than mutants? Am I right about this? Have I successfully learned the Shounen jump?

Having a bit of an X-Files rewatch, and I'd honestly forgotten quite how much it's just "The Adventures of the FBI's Most Special Boy and his Dumb Idiot Partner Who's Always Wrong".
