En route back from @pollenetwork.bsky.social gathering of fabulous feral political ecology minds & hearts in #Barcelona. We cannot assume ever to offer perfect answers to our wild polycrisis circumstances but politicial ecologists are definitely the ones asking the best f*cking questions.
Targets like "87% cut in emissions by 2040" are a cool trick countries like the UK employ. To general public, it sounds ambitious because it is close to 100%. In reality, it obscures more than it reveals. And current action is highly insufficient for even 2°C in line with wealthy country obligations

I completely agree with Marjorie Taylor Greene is a sentence I never thought I would ever write.
The President of the United States is threatening to commit war crimes and wipe out a "whole civilization" — all because he started a disastrous war of his own making and had no plan and no strategy for how to end it. This is abhorrent, and the American people do not support this.
He still needs to be removed from office. A war powers resolution will not suffice. He circumvented Congress to start the war. He circumvented them on tariffs and appropriations. Why anyone thinks he'd adhere to a Congressional war powers resolution is beyond me.
Just because a President announces he’s agreed to a two week ceasefire moments before he threatened to commit war crimes, does not mean he is suddenly fit to serve. #25thAmendment
