I hate sounding like a negative nancy but man, I just am not buying Jorge's sudden backpedal at all. He went from doubling down, to TRIPLING down and laughing about it, to suddenly saying he is "learning a lot from our comments about AI" despite preaching anti-AI statements himself for years. What??

Anyway, the creator has seemingly decided to abandon the project. I don't wish them any ill will, I hope they are able to keep having a successful career, but not if their projects kill creative jobs by stealing from past work. Anyone planning to work with AI sees now how important communication is.

Creatives in Hollywood are terrified of AI, especially the animation community which has been hit EXTREMELY hard from post streaming wars contraction. That a creator who has championed animation so successfully in the past wouldn't have put more thought into navigating this moment is disappointing.
