My friends, I’ve been talking with people around me—neighbors, friends, family—& I keep hearing the same thing: a lot of folks just don’t care about politics or voting. That’s a problem. Because whether you like it or not, politics shapes your life. Your job. Your pay. Your healthcare. Your food.
Just a heads up that in this graphic the featured faces all look white. This is exactly why some people disengage from politics. People don't feel seen, listened to, included.

Regret to inform everyone that Peter Magyar beat the world’s smartest illiberal populist in large measure by working incredibly hard for 2 straight years, meaning the rest of us are just going to have to get off our asses and do shit rather than just complaining.
Péter Magyar victory speech: "We want to make a country where no one is persecuted because they think differently or because someone loves in a different way to others." He may not have campaigned as a liberal. But this is a huge change of direction and rhetoric from Orbán’s anti-LGBTQ+ crusade.
