⛽️ Gas prices have now been above $4 for more days than ANY other year on record. Trump’s war with Iran has forced Americans to spend an extra $107 BILLION on gas alone — roughly $2,000 per household.

NEW and BREAKING @wired.com: Trump White House aides see almost no paths to Republicans keeping control of the House, according to three sources familiar with the situation — and are more focused on trying to save the Senate majority www.wired.com/story/trump-...

Trump Aides Admit the House Is a Lost Cause

With the midterm elections just a few weeks away, the White House knows it has to go all in on Senate races—while virtually forfeiting the House.

The immutable, unnamed American law of The Dumbest Thing That Can Happen Will Happen dictates that the Democrats will win the House handily, as projected, and take the Senate 51-49, making John Fetterman the most powerful flesh husk in America for the next 24 months.

My name is not the reason we're paying $5/gallon for gas. My name is not the reason you can't afford your groceries. My name is not the reason you can't afford your mortgage or rent. My name is not the reason you can't see a doctor. Their policies are the reason.

The ability to answer this well says everything about running as an empathetic three dimensional being in order to enact an agenda with and for people as opposed to running as an amalgam of poll-tested points to win simply for sake of doing so.

This man is so good at this! What an amazing answer. A reporter asks how El-Sayed can campaign with Barack Obama when he has criticized him in the past. El-Sayed’s answer - that you can love someone and still criticize them - is spot on.

“Your kid wouldn’t be acting like that if you had a dad around” is something a neighbor just said to me on the street and I’m just going to say that men and their biases and opinions and conduct just really need a hard body check right now. (I liked this neighbor until now.)

Plugging to add that the folks at NINJA are watching that warehouse like a hawk. Seriously amazing citizen watchdogs. Hopefully Williamsport and others are being watched day and night for the kind of shenanigans happening in New Jersey!

A recording shared with us by the fine folks at Project NINJA says that the DOJ has confirmed to the Roxbury, NJ town council that ICE has been using the warehouse there for training. We reached out to the U.S. Attorney for New Jersey about what that training entails.

Update: this man has a wife and two kids. He has been here for three years. Never had an adverse event with immigration before being kidnapped off the street in broad daylight on the way back from a Dunkin order. No deportation order. It’s a straight abduction.

Yesterday afternoon in my town, ICE kidnapped a man walking home from Dunkin Donuts with coffee for his family right off the street. New Jersey is under siege. This is the least violent kidnapping we’ve had, but it’s still a kidnapping.

HUGE: Nearly 200,000 Georgians voted yesterday, SMASHING the state record for most votes on day 1 of midterm early voting. Georgia is ready to make history this November.
