This makes me *so* sad as a #Mets fan, a baseball fan, and a human being. The commoditization, corruption & dehumanization of sports to satisfy corporate lust for profit—and the #MLB’s abandoning all previous principles to get in on the action—is, as my Grandma Mary would say, a Shonda.

Betting on sports is booming and yet fans seem to hate the increased integration of gambling/prediction markets with their teams/leagues and I would love to understand this dichotomy
