This is a big victory for working people over big tech corporations who have been exploiting them. Congratulations to the California Gig Workers Union on the massive organizing feat of signing up 30%+ of rideshare drivers statewide and the impending certification of their union!

Everybody knows someone who lost everything in the Eaton Fire. As news spreads that the official investigations have found utility lines to have caused the devastation, I’m hopeful that the findings help the families left in its wake get closer to justice and accountability.

Angelenos don’t want to be surveilled - and the law defends them from it. LA shouldn’t be working with companies that violate civil liberties, we should be protecting Angelenos from them. Ending LAPD’s relationship with Flock is a good first step. abc7.com/post/lapd-en...

Lorenzo Salgado Araujo should be alive today 🕊️ He was a father. A son. A Texan. A loved one. A human being. Instead, his family is mourning after he was killed during an ICE operation in Houston. Lorenzo deserved to come home. His family deserves answers. Our communities deserve justice

Standing with thousands of entertainment workers as LA’s Supervisors assess the harm of the Warner Bros-Paramount merger. As City Attorney, I’ll join the California Department of Justice’s investigation and take every action to #BlockTheMerger.

A Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors report warns that the pending Paramount-Warner Bros Discovery merger could result in significant job losses.

The results are still early, but Angelenos sent a clear message in yesterday’s primary that they’re ready for a change, and for a City Attorney that fights for the people. This—the support at the polls, unseating a current incumbent—was possible because of the people power behind this campaign.

For the past year and a half, Traci Park has been telling CD11 constituents that the Venice Dell affordable housing project is “dead.” Well guess what? As of this past week it’s clear that the project is not dead and it never was. Traci has been lying.

We're in the home stretch before Election Day, and we need your help to get out the vote for the people's attorney! You can help power us through the finish line on June 2 by knocking doors, make calls, and telling your friends and family to vote for Marissa for City Attorney. See you there!

"The most important, least understood position," and I'm going to change that. Angelenos’ city attorney could be holding bad landlords, abusive corporations, and the Trump administration accountable. The difference is, I'II actually do it— just like I have my whole career. 8 days left to vote.
