democrats, literally the only thing you should be talking about for the next 3 days is donald trump lying about being a 9/11 hero. i dont care if the question is about the economy or gas prices or about how sexually attractive you are, you steer that answer to trump lying about being a 9/11 hero

Donald Trump did NOTHING for New York after 9/11. He was never at Ground Zero. He sent no construction crews. And there's no evidence he donated a single penny to help As we mourned our family, our friends, our city, Trump's only "contribution" was to brag that he had the tallest building downtown

Trump claims that after 9/11, "I went down, I was building a building in New York, and I went down there very shortly thereafter -- the following day, you couldn't go down the same day -- and we worked long and hard"

Good morning. Trans people and immigrants aren’t why your grocery bills are high, your gas is expensive, and you don’t have universal health care. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to figure out the real reason, and vote for those who actually want to fix it. 🇺🇸

again i am just not that interested in debating whether human rights should theoretically extend to robots and ai when we currently don't even extend them to all humans

🧵 Nearly half of recorded history lives on fragile 78rpm discs. 🎙️🎶 From music & comedy to speeches & firsthand accounts of world events, these recordings shaped what future generations could know about the past. 📚 Read “On 78s” by George Blood in VANISHING CULTURE 🔗 archive.org/details/vani...

Greenish-black graphic quoting George Blood, Audio Preservation Expert, for the Vanishing Culture series, with the question "Why preserve 78rpm recordings?" and the quote "78rpm discs were the way we learned about each other and entertained the world."

My takeaway from that speech is that we are headed down the road of Trump trying to outright rig elections. It probably won't work, but he's going for it.

To every New Yorker: this rule is not yet in effect. The earliest it could take effect is Sept. 18, 2026. New York City will use every tool at our disposal to fight this attack on immigrant families and the communities that make our city the greatest on earth.

CBS Headline reads: DHS could weigh immigrants’ use of Medicaid, food and housing help in green card decisions

This morning in Biddeford, Maine, a 26-year-old man said goodbye to his wife and daughter and left for work. Moments later he was dead, shot in the head by ICE agents, the second man ICE has killed in six days. ICE is killing our neighbors. ICE cannot be reformed. Abolish ICE.

Any book about Trump that describes him as "unconstrained" or "norm-breaking" is a coverup. Any honest account from "inside the presidency" would report that he is deranged, dysfunctional, flighty, ignorant, bigoted, and a sociopath. The big question it could answer is: Is he lying or is he deluded?

As the government raids “antifa groups” in Minneapolis with the SAME charges levied against myself and the rest of the Broadview Six, we need to be asking how they got this indictment. And as charges (hopefully) get dropped, we must remember the process is the punishment.

WOW - Trump crashes out & cuts his interview w/ Welker short as she presses him on his lack of evidence for claiming elections are rigged "You're either crooked or you're stupid. I've had enough. Thank you darling," he tells her" "I traveled all the way to Wisconsin for this interview," she pleads

Proposed NDA language goes well beyond draft regs. NDA unconstitutionally tries to bind federal employees from disclosing any info post-employment. This goes against existing & well-settled case law. No one should sign. And we will sue to protect 1st Amendment rights.

Breaking WaPo: The Trump admin is planning to roll out government-wide NDAs that would bar federal workers from sharing a wide array of "confidential government information," according to a draft notice posted to the Federal Register by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management.

This is insanity: Trump's DOJ is about to "settle" his lawsuit against the IRS by creating a $1.7 billion slush fund to pay off victims of Biden "weaponization." I talked to Jamie Raskin about this. It's even more corrupt than it first appears. 1/ (new piece) newrepublic.com/article/2105...

Trump’s $10 Billion Shakedown of IRS Takes Unnervingly Corrupt Turn

The president’s “settlement” with the IRS appears set to give him a slush fund of $1.7 billion to dole out to allies. How unconstitutional is it? Jamie Raskin counts the ways.

This is dead on. If the Democrats retake the House and Senate--or even just the House--it could mark the beginning of the end of a 50-year Republican project. If they can't? The GOP will spend the next 2 years destroying all remaining guardrails. Most important midterms of our lives, no question.

The Roberts Court, the Trump White House, and the national GOP are acting like this is their one big shot. Either they secure the lasting end of US Constitutional democracy, or they’re in very serious trouble from the backlash. And they’ve already gone so far that there’s no other possibility.
