Fantastic win for Hearts Women in their first ever European tie. Interesting season ahead with so many changes from the success of last year (and congrats to Eva Olid on her appointment as Man Utd manager). I'd tag them, but the club doesn't deem Bluesky worthy, so I'll just say well done! HHGH

My god, Stuart Findlay is awful. How on earth he got a permanent deal is beyond me.

Rumour doing the rounds that Fagan-Walcott was spotted on crutches at the Oriam today. Any truth in it @heartsstandard.bsky.social ?
Someone left this very chic & fashionable lady in the bookshop. She's enjoying browsing some arts and fashion books for now, but would very much like to see her little person again. #Edinburgh #Edimbourg
Anyone braved getting a Lothian bus since the Princes St Fire? Need to get from Haymarket to Meadowbank, but no idea how long it's going to take with the diversion?
Really sad to hear this. From watching The Commitments back in my school days, through to his work with The Frames and solo, he's been a musician I've admired for a long time.

Findlay showing he's just as good as McCart with the first goal tonight. Awful defending. Can we not persuade McInnes to take him to Ibrox too? The left side of central defence really worries me, particularly with Kingsley injured. As for the strikers, bunch of individuals. Entirely lacked punch.
Schwolow confirmed as leaving. This summer has been mental.
Craig Gordon announces his retirement. An absolute legend for Hearts. Without doubt the best I've seen between the sticks for Hearts. And that's even with years of injury. Enjoy your retirement Craig. You've more than earned it.

A 'friendly' for Hearts tonight v St Mirren. Likely to end up with injuries before the season has even started then...
Obviously we'd need to see how he settles, but this sounds exactly what we need. Between that and the transfer rumours and stories, this week has gone a bit nuts already, and it's only Tuesday morning!

The attacks in Edinburgh, in which an armed bare-chested white man terrorised Muslims, leaving five people injured, don't feature on a single newspaper front page this morning. Two tier journalism
A man has been running around stabbing people on the streets of a UK city and large elements of the nation’s media are strangely not interested The Mail ranks a story about Gordon Ramsey’s daughter being pregnant higher. The Telegraph is more interested in a voracious pufferfish. I wonder why?
Don't know why, as I've never seen the lad play, but I've got a really good feeling about this one. Got a hunch he'll do really well from the off.
From the National League to the Champions League, Malachi Fagan-Walcott is over the moon to join Heart of Midlothian. He explained the decision to move north ahead of interest from other clubs. 🔗 onlrl.co/c4nmae
No sign as yet of announcements for Fagan-Walcott or Renaud. Both deals been rumoured to be complete. Are the announcements being held back until after the new manager is sorted? Any insight @heartsstandard.bsky.social / @sked21.bsky.social ?

Get the ball out to wee Gannon-Doak. Looks like he's well up for it so far.
Immigrants & asylum seekers are not our enemies. They are not responsible for the austerity, privatisation, erosion of civic life, thinning of democracy and concentration of power we suffer. But they're being punished for these things. Punished at the behest of the very people who *are* responsible.
Welcome to Hearts Amadou Ba-Sy! Looks like he'll offer us something different to the front line, which I'm all for. HHGH
Why do I get the feeling the Council will push ahead with an attempt at the tramlines, despite these consultation figures? And the fact they don't have funding? And that if they did, there are soooooo many other things it could be better spent on?

Loved the Edinburgh Taxi Outing this morning. Not quite the slower procession we're used to seeing each year, but delighted it happened, given there were serious doubts at one point. Huge well done to everyone involved! #Edinburgh
Increasing reports that a deal has been agreed with York for Malachi Fagan-Walcott. Good to see the club doing business early. Worked well last season.
Miller confirmed on a three year deal. Glad to see Hearts looking at domestic markets as well as foreign ones. He'll hopefully be able to hit the ground running, something I felt our signings in January lacked.
