BREAKING NEWS: I'm annoying other SEOs on a new platform! More (yawn): https://martinmacdonald.com

Howdy SEO Folks: Anyone ever seen a MASSIVE change in GSC stats on specific pages in the "most recent day" data? On Friday last week, we saw a *huge increase* in traffic across a subset of pages, by Sunday not only was it not reported, final figures appeared less than average.

🏁🏁The SEO F1 Fantasy League, 2025 🏁🏁 A couple of us have been maintaining an SEO industry fantasy league for F1, we had 25 teams competing last year! No cost, no prizes (other than pride!), just general F1 banter and some fun. DM ME FOR THE LINK!

So eggs are up. Gas is up. Hiring is down 50%, the jobs report is down massively, inflation is up, GDP is down… But please let me know, are those dogs and cats in Ohio safe from Haitians yet????

Just paid the 'annual tax' on being an SEO (the Screaming Frog license), and realized my copy has been expired for SEVENTEEN MONTHS. Yes, nearly a year and a half!!!!!! Thats the longest Ive gone without it in about a decade, almost totally replaced by SiteBulb. Anyone else found similar?

I was thinking about this last night quite a bit: Its incredible how a change in situation can contribute to ones mental health and wellbeing. After two years not knowing where Id be living in six months, having stability has really helped me get back in a decent mindset.

Its not a shortcut, but the correct answer here is: 1) there has to be a high probability that every page google crawls, will be "crawled, indexed" not "crawled, not currently indexed". If your GSC report is heavy as a percentage on the latter you're toast. (continued below)
