It will get gay. You cannot avoid this. Your story will get gay as fuck

I don't know if people realize how valuable retweeting indie developers is. It can add 100s of wishlists to an indie game, which can accumulate to mean the difference between a developer being able to finish a game and forcing them back into a 9 to 5 job. Maseylia is now Out on Steam! Thanks all :)
I feel the rise of these frictionless harvest moon-likes has created a lot of extremely sensitive gamers that piss themselves if they see anything remotely different. I saw a comment on that sick Mongolian courier game saying that “nobody wants a game like that and they just wanna farm”, like what.
the past: "dont pirate that software, it might put malware on your computer" now: "that software is good but the official version essentially comes bundled with malware so make sure to pirate it"

I'm begging y'all, don't assume malice until you got real proof of it. The worse part about enshitification of gamedev with Generative AI is that people who ARE avoiding AI in their workflows can and will get caught up in having AI in their games due to Asset pool poisoning and AI slop artists.
Mistrust and assumption of malice is a byproduct of late stage capitalism leading into fascism where their morality has been thrown out a LONG time ago in order to make as much money as possible. the most punk thing you can do is to be kind.
