Also, a small note, but the box itself is of surprisingly strong quality. I'll be using it as storage for sprues and miniature bits.

Hi, I'm a miniature painter who also dabbles into sculpting and generally experimenting in the hobby. I'll be sharing my progress on here. (She/her)
As I feared, now that I have the Carcass Front box in my hands, the kitbashing has begun! The Drowned Chorister is actively being altered, the Captain's reposing being blocked out, and currently working on the concept for how the trooper's backpack and helm is going to be altered.
So, taking a GW soldier (with replaced arms and head. The body I think from the Bloodied Kill Team kit), the Carcass Front Naval Heretic is noticeably bigger. Even crouched, the scale is notable close up, but not too bad from tabletop distance.
Some fun new lore for the Court of the Seven Headed Serpent
++ THE SEVEN HEADS OF THE SERPENT ++ Our latest lore drop describes the Seven Heads of the Serpent, the most prominent entities of Hell who labour for the total destruction of Creation: www.trenchcrusade.com/lore/the-sev... Art by Artem Demura!
You can not kill 🫀WAYS AND MEANS🫀 in any way that matters. You can be full of mushrooms though! Play the BLIGHTBORN and spread your spores throughout the City Beneath - but fuck around too often and you risk a Full Myconic Overload 💥🍄 Become the Fungus Amongus (sorry) and get Ways and Means today
Got my hands on the Carcass Front box and started assembling what is supposed to be the most fiddly model. The torso and legs would be very difficult to alter, I'll probably swap out the head, add a few more chains, and reposition the sharks to be higher up.
So, the end of the HEART campaign is in sight! It's been very fun to run and the fact that both of my players are actually driving the plot towards their inevitable demise is probably the best sign this is going to go well.
For my fellow Trench nerds, I know some of you play Trench Ghosts. Does anyone have a recommendation for a one-off game with 700 ducats, No Glory for building up a team? I kinda want it to center around a Tank Palanquin since a lot of players have heavy hitters.
If you've been waiting on your Carcass Front box to take part in our Worldwide Campaign, fear not! Even though the Carcass Front box isn't required to participate, we will be extending the campaign until October 19th give everyone time to join the carnage!
Unfortunate for the hype cycle, but I’ve waited this long. Two weeks is nothing
++ CARCASS FRONT STREET DATE DELAYS ++ We regret to announce that due to logistical issues, the retail release of Carcass Front has been delayed by around 2 weeks: www.trenchcrusade.com/news/carcass...
A nice video showcasing a Naval Heretics proxy warband for Trench Crusade (along with some nice miniature cinematography) - youtu.be/JvRkiUYzQiM?...

So, got a confirmation email that my Carcass Front box is out on delivery - I should have it in my hands tomorrow or the day after. It'll be a little while before I can do anything with the models, as I have a few projects I need to wrap up on, such as a Turnip28 train and other TC projects.
Crafting on ADHD - sudden bursts of energy, utter chaos. There is method in the madness and hopefully I'll maintain the momentum to get these looking something like! #nerdlings #trenchcrusade #carcassfront
Ah now, this is going to take a while! #nerdlings #trenchcrusade
Hmm, even WW1 is mythologized to a false degree due to the British solely focusing on their time in the Western Front. The Christmas Truce of 1914 was super small and only involved a handful of units.
An ironic thing about Trench Crusade is that “World War I where you have to shoot demons” feels less grimdark a setting than the actually existing “World War I where you have to shoot the 19 year-old you played soccer with during the Christmas of 1914.”
#HobbyStreak — Yesterday I kitbashed a #TrenchCrusade warband to test out at my LGS. #HobbyStreak1 #Kitbash #Minipainting
(WIP) Skeleton Prussian army for Trench Crusade (And yes, the image has several soldiers in Bavarian caps, I just didn’t want to fork over the extra money for a second kit.) #trenchcrusade #trenchghosts
I addore Trench Crusade, but this is something that bothered me too. But once I thought of it less as WW1 with supernatural elements and more Medieval fantasy but they have guns, it made a lot more sense to me. There are other games like A War Transformed and the Last War to meet my other needs.

This incredible Heretic Captain was painted by @gamma_jay_ on Instagram! The freehand work on the cloak is fiendishly good 🔥 The Heretic Captain is part of the Heretic Naval Raiders Warband, which is in the Carcass Front box, coming to stores next week! #trenchcrusade

Reading through The Carcass Front book, and I rather love when we get the Iron Sultanate perspective on things; having them pitted against the pilgrims and Antioch because they believe killing the Leviathan/Bahamut could destabilise the world, is such an interesting angle as a Sultanate player.
So many cool hooks and teases in the carcass front stuff. Like the rudolphs folly sky pirates, the automaton armies of hell, the gnostics, the house of pillars. Good lord
