The Redstone Rescue is a fantasy novel set in a republic that cares for and protects its citizens, surrounded by avaricious kingdoms. Is is my response to our genre's obsession with kings and chosen ones. Not a story of revolution, one that asks how a better world can be preserved.

I understand that it sucks to have to read a book you didn't choose as a kid but when people are like 40 and still going, "well assigned reading turned me off from reading" it's like, ok but you're 40. No one has assigned you a book in like 20 years.
Remember, both the Iliad and the Odyssey were originally audiobooks.

I was really excited for the Deathbringer RPG but the artwork has really put me off. I expected B/W grim dark fantasy because it was designed with Shadowdark in mind but I guess it is going more for a retro-Conan-Boris Vallejo vibe and has unfortunately fallen on the sexist side of that.

Really proud of my D&D youth group today making the new player feel welcome; “you aren’t ‘playing wrong’ “, “your ideas aren’t stupid,” “we all make mistakes but it’s okay to do that at the table.” Also very brave of the new player to be honest and vulnerable.
One of my D&D youth group players wrote his character background and it is so exciting to read because it has a hundred plot hooks for me as DM
