Burnham is not even PM yet and my timeline is full of criticism. Such negativity from all sides. Whether you like someone or not, you have to give them a chance to settle in. Working under such hostile conditions is unsustainable for anyone. No wonder we’ve had 7 PMs in 10 years.
Ah well. One of the great things about being of mixed heritage is that I can immediately switch to being Spanish.
Forest players past and present playing their part last night. Anderson, quietly fabulous throughout. Ndoye on the scoresheet, but Djed Spence? I know some people have not rated him, but I’m falling in love with him all over again (after stupidly falling in love with the loan player) #NFFC
After the match my husband dug out his Mexico ‘86 sticker album. 40 years ago!
8 ducklings that appeared at school put a smile on everyone’s face today.
What’s with the font on the Norway kit? That’s not an 8!!
A conversation in the staff room earlier this week about preferred toast spreads. I was adamant that marmalade was the elite choice… one of my teachers who was there gave me this today, just because. I genuinely work at the best school in the world.
Have been in denial for a while. This is very sad news #nffc
🚨 Elliot Anderson to undergo medical in US ahead of Manchester City move: potential package could reach £130m fee. 💣💸 #MCFC ready to officially seal the move with Nottingham Forest this weekend. 🔵🔐
Just getting ready for prom and my make up has just melted straight off my face. It’s going to be a hot one!
Messi is already a God in Argentina. This is a painting on the side of a huge building just off the Plaza de la República, just one of many Messi tributes around Buenos Aires. They must be going crazy there today.
Happy Summer Solstice. Might regret the sunrise paddle as the day progresses, but what a beautiful start to the day.
A traveler asked: “How could ancient people possibly understand mathematics?” Excellent question. We accidentally invented geometry while trying to avoid carrying rocks incorrectly.

While our internet was acting up yesterday I thought ‘ooh, maybe someone’s decided we’ll go back to not having that anymore that anymore’ and honestly, what a nice thought that was.
I always like to have a good break during the Easter holidays to clear my mind before I start timetabling. This year was Egypt with the boys. Everything was utterly 🤯
"It’s a bright spot on the moon,” CSA astronaut Jeremy Hansen said, his voice breaking up, “and we would like to call it Carroll.” The crew all shared a hug after. www.nytimes.com/2026/04/06/s...
