Very unimportant person with very unimportant views. Am I being serious? Am I joking? Have I completely misread the room? Welcome to Autism Roulette Views my own, name is someone else’s.

One thing I missed when I saw X-Men First Class in cinema but picked up on the rewatch. Shaw tells young Magneto the Nazi’s we’re right except mutants, not aryans were the master race. Magneto tells Shaw he agrees with everything he said but Shaw shot his mum. Magneto sided with Nazi ideology 😬

X-Men First Class is not a good movie. It’s over long, underbaked and is both doing too much and too little. Characters are flip flopping all over the place, their motivations change with no external influence. It also relies on historical events to give gravitas in the cheapest ways possible

It feels too early for the football season to have restarted. I personally like a bit of time to read up on the transfer market, have a chat in work about fantasy football picks, get excited. I'm watching Final Score and I don't know who's in and out for the Swans

As a matter of fact 1. Nobody 'automatically' qualifies for ILR now, at 5 years, nor under the plans, at 10 years. (The govt uses the language of "too automatic" and the commentator follows this) 2. The proposal is 8+ tiers. 10 years will be a norm, but will in fact be rather rare (1 in 10 people)

Do other disabled communities have conversations internally and about them like the ASD one has? Do people who’ve had their hand amputated say they shouldn’t be called amputees because it’s disrespectful to those who’ve had their leg amputated?

Doing a little bit of research on UK Supreme Court voting records. The courts decisions are based on a majority vote, so when a judge's name is listed as "agreed" on the court summary, does that mean they are part of the majority vote or agreed with the summary?

I appreciate your points. It is, of course, complicated. I would say we didn't overlook them - we just chose a less bleak view of the profession. Those willing to do what you say, rise to the top. But I don't accept that two dozen politics hacks are a fair sample. What about war correspondents, 1/2

I once got bullied in work by a mental health advocacy group. I told the Time To Talk Champion, that every one loved, he should give attendees of our mental health sessions time to talk, and not spend the session talking about himself. Issues about social media aren't just people being too online.

So I get that there's (yet again) a big debate going on about AI on Bluesky. I am turning off replies to this post because I don't want to have notifications flooded one way or the other on this one. I just want to share what I've heard multiple times in just the past two weeks.
