Lil bit of hope that the Mayor is working on making things safer in Boston. This is the first action I've seen to back up the words we're hearing. Not the whole lane, but I'm happy to have some protection back around the Public Garden (especially they corners)
So drivers *can* be charged with murdering people with their vehicles? Please continue to charge drivers for their crimes. There’s a lot of dead pedestrians and bikers waiting for justice in this city

My friend is dead. A driver, through neglect, recklessness or malice, has killed Louisa. I’m beside myself with grief and filled with righteous anger at a city that has stalled and slow-walked safety improvements for all road users. Louisa should be here with us.

This one hits close to home. Boston needs to be better and make roads safer for all vulnerable road users. I’m incensed. I’m sad, and also incandescent with rage over yet another preventable death on Boston’s streets

I am becoming convinced that autonomous vehicles are designed to solve the problem of "I live in a wealthy suburb but have a horrible car commute and don't want to drive anymore but also hate trains and buses and refuse to ride a bike."
