This thread highights a subtle and difficult messaging problem. Achieving netZero will not reverse the impacts of the current climate, which has been heated up by historical CO2 emissions. It is too late for that. The point of netZero is to prevent the future situation from getting even worse. ..

Oh, nice! The K-Pg impactor was most likely a CO (Ornans-type) chondrite. Works well with Ni, Cr, PGE, organics constraints as well as "the" fossil meteorite from the K-Pg boundary!

Perhaps not "ever" but certainly for any forseeable future (who knows, perhaps there is even an Earth-sized world in the Oort cloud? Or free-floating somewhere near-by the solar system?). Venus gets little love compared to Mars, although it could tell us so much more about our place in the universe.
Your reminder that, while everyone is rightly focused on the Moon these days, Venus is the only other Earth-sized world we will ever visit. And if we truly want to understand why our own planet is habitable, we must explore the one that isn't.

Not interested in super moons, micro moons or blue moons. They basically are all full moons and are either identical to or only marginally different from regular full moons. The main function of defining these various full moons is to provide filler content for 21st century media.
