Exactly this point. If you want to rehabilitate extremists (and we *should*), you have to engage with representatives of their persecuted groups *before* putting them up for them public roles, not afterwards

Analysts still way too pessimistic. We are going to reach a deployment rate for solar of 1TW a year. Chinese exports alone just hit 60GW/month. 1TW should yield ~2600TWh/year or roughly 5% of global electricity use.

Here is the good news: DOJ is now 0-20 in lawsuits to gain access to voter files and tomorrow is the 90th day before the election which means states can't purge voters -- even if DOJ wants them to. The bad news: Trump won't give up trying to use DOJ to undermine the elections.
Stories like this are so common that it almost seems to be a qualifying criterion on the far-right.

I’m very much on the “don’t speak ill of the dead” side of civility but that doesn’t mean distorting what someone did with their life, particularly if they used their position to hurt others. Liddle was not a brilliant provocateur. He used misinformation to whip up hate against bedbound people.
