Remembering #PeteBurns, born this day in 1959. Long before Big Brother, Pete sang for Nightmares In Wax who had a true #postpunk and early #goth vibe about them - before transforming into Dead Or Alive and achieving #synthpop success! Pete sadly passed away in 2016.

From the museum at Edinburgh Castle. Iβm fascinated by tales of maritime misadventure generally, but something about this story seemed especially poignant
