On 9/11 I was in NZ and doing work experience on an emu/blueberry farm and had to take a break from watching the news coverage to gather eggs from the emu paddock and one of the emus had a right go at me. And then I went back inside and watched the second tower fall.

I know it'd be a wild escalation but Canada should 100% expel Pete Hoekstra. Show the American public that their mad king's threats have real world consequences, that this is no joke.
Legitimate question: what does it take for us to expel the US Ambassador from Canada. How is that not on the table with the president sharing an image like this.

Watched "Sorry, Baby" and wish I felt the same as what seems to be a consensus very positive response. To me it felt cold, distant, artificial..I didn't believe the character interactions and relationships, the dialogue, or the strange empty world they occupied. Kept me at arms length.
Fucking pathetic. It's Lake Ontario, and always will be.

We've been watching the Interview With The Vampire show and I've been mostly lukewarm throughout, with some clear highlights and plenty that didn't work for me at all. But the final episode (of season 2) was exceptional, and reframed so much of what came before. Great stuff.
Listening to the new Weezer and it's pretty solid actually, but the production absolutely rules. Chunky guitar tone. Drums that hit hard. Sounds amazing.
The fact that vehicles have been able to achieve this for a century is a real testament to the pointlessness of this endeavour
