My kid got Covid this year right after his college graduation in May. And since then, he has been non-stop sick with one virus after the other. He's had to be on antibiotics 2x. I swear to god this virus fucks you up. It is not just a cold. It messes with your immune system for months.

Watched the Devil Wears Prada 2 last night. What an absolutely terrible movie! It felt like they had a checklist of scenes they were going through instead of building a real story with real characters. It's all vibes & pretty clothes. Do not waste your time!

I rewatched Good Will Hunting with my family last night & realized that the film is Ben Affleck's & Matt Damon's best work. They peaked early. Sure, the movie has its flaws & they have been in lots of things since, but it stands head & shoulders above everything else they've done IMO.

It’s obvious McConnell is dead.

I always pictured getting to be little old ladies with my mom—who was only 21 years older than I. I thought it would be such a fun phase of life. I pictured us having tea & laughing at everything.

90% of the non-food items in my kitchen I received as wedding gifts or hand-me-downs. I rarely buy new things for my house. I really don't care about collecting shit or having nice things. When my mom died, this instinct was confirmed. You can't take anything with you.
