Scioli is reading TDKR page by page on YouTube - watching him on Page 1 got me wondering if Miller saw Yoshiaki Kawajiri’s “The Running Man.” so I checked and Miller’s driving sequence predates that anime by a year. pretty sure there’s no connection, but fascinating parallel evolution nonetheless.
