Gets back to the idea that they genuinely believed they could manufacture a cultural movement with broad popular support by buying up channels like Twitter, TikTok, film and television studios, which they assumed had artificially created the popular culture they sought to replace.

this is a bit of an obsession of mine especially here in charlottesville. the cost of commercial real estate is prohibitive if you want to experiment and the city seems categorically opposed to small lots and small units that could allow people to start businesses without a huge capital investment
To add to this, just about everything Black in this country is a double edged sword.

My parents chose the other route and while it worked out academically, I was mostly unhappy with my educational experience and missed going to school with my friends in our neighborhood.
