A very, very dark day for UK rights, and feminism in the UK. Now ALL women will be scrutinised and policed by their appearance. This does not solve any problem that existed, and makes life much worse for a targeted minority. For shame, IHRC

I hear Twitter has become a Nazi bubble. That's not good for democracy or the public square! Do conservatives know Twitter has veered from its holy duty to be The Octagon of the market place of ideas??! Surely they will now all insist the Nazis stop driving Leftists away and make them feel welcome

I am wary of cis people who call themselves trans allies like I'm wary of men who call themselves feminists. People often want the aesthetics of allyship without doing the actual work of listening to the marginalised group. If you're an ally they'll know from your words and actions

A PSA to my fellow cis people who are (or want to believe they are) trans allies If you are getting pushback from trans people and your reaction is to be all “no! not me! I’m one of the good ones!” please remember that “being one of the good ones” is something you DO, not something you ARE

This is a really important part of the attack on trans kids. They're desperate to stop someone like NikkiTutorials, who transitioned as a kid, from existing and being happy and successful without publicly coming out first because then people will know trans people are harmless

Aidan Comerford@aidancomerford.bsky.social · yesterday

What they *really, really* want is to stop people being trans and PASSING, because in that case it is much, much harder to identify and bully trans people in public (as GC people have been directed to do most recently by JK Rowling, by taking pictures, reporting them, and publishing pics online.)

I feel bad for saying it but I don't think I enjoyed the Cape Fear TV show. I loved the music and the saturated colour scheme even the characters with Mako infused eyes. But it should've been 6 episodes maximum and just focused on Adams and Bardem with maybe a bit more of Cady's creepy family

Avatar Aang is about a grievance from thousands of years ago that ends with an attempt to drop a former nation into the middle of an established population with no consideration to the death and destruction that would cause because only that person's tribe matters to them
