It's extremely weird how quickly AI has diminished the cognitive function of those who use it for no discernable gain for society.
I have one answer.

A very, very dark day for UK rights, and feminism in the UK. Now ALL women will be scrutinised and policed by their appearance. This does not solve any problem that existed, and makes life much worse for a targeted minority. For shame, IHRC
Two trans people using the toilet from today in the UK
Are you... are you part of the *homo-sexual underground*?
I hear Twitter has become a Nazi bubble. That's not good for democracy or the public square! Do conservatives know Twitter has veered from its holy duty to be The Octagon of the market place of ideas??! Surely they will now all insist the Nazis stop driving Leftists away and make them feel welcome
If we agree Mar-A-Lago face is drag we can arrest a lot of the worst people in the USA
BREAKING: The Eleventh Circuit, en banc, upholds Florida's anti-drag law, holding that it is neither unconstitutionally vague nor unconstitutionally overbroad. More to come at Law Dork: www.lawdork.com
I am wary of cis people who call themselves trans allies like I'm wary of men who call themselves feminists. People often want the aesthetics of allyship without doing the actual work of listening to the marginalised group. If you're an ally they'll know from your words and actions
A PSA to my fellow cis people who are (or want to believe they are) trans allies If you are getting pushback from trans people and your reaction is to be all “no! not me! I’m one of the good ones!” please remember that “being one of the good ones” is something you DO, not something you ARE
I've apparently graduated from oddly satisfying human medical videos like cyst draining and ear canal cleaning and moved onto video of cows infected hooves getting shaved until the pus bursts forth... it's also oddly satisfying...and gross
This is a really important part of the attack on trans kids. They're desperate to stop someone like NikkiTutorials, who transitioned as a kid, from existing and being happy and successful without publicly coming out first because then people will know trans people are harmless
What they *really, really* want is to stop people being trans and PASSING, because in that case it is much, much harder to identify and bully trans people in public (as GC people have been directed to do most recently by JK Rowling, by taking pictures, reporting them, and publishing pics online.)
And I want a grovelling apology that my taxes and TV license payments sustained his television career for decades without my consent
Jeremy Clarkson would like a 'full thank you letter' from disabled people who get disability benefits. metro.co.uk/2026/08/02/j... refers. OK, Mr Clarkson, I'm not on benefits, but I'll have a go at writing you this thank you post thread instead/
Me, at work, when people ask how my weekend was
The Earth is also terrible, and dark, and cruel. The rabbit shrieks dying in the green meadows. The mountains clench their great hands full of hidden fire. There are sharks in the sea, and there is cruelty in men’s eyes.
I feel bad for saying it but I don't think I enjoyed the Cape Fear TV show. I loved the music and the saturated colour scheme even the characters with Mako infused eyes. But it should've been 6 episodes maximum and just focused on Adams and Bardem with maybe a bit more of Cady's creepy family
Avatar Aang is about a grievance from thousands of years ago that ends with an attempt to drop a former nation into the middle of an established population with no consideration to the death and destruction that would cause because only that person's tribe matters to them
This pose and styling is pure Alan Partridge. Has The Times branched out into satire in addition to their usual bigotry?
How to look good on the beach (leave the sarong at home)
Progress in Silksong is me taking three days to make it through the balloon bouncing platforming section to a new power. I love this game but I am not good at it
My algorithm is giving me reels from interviews with sociopaths and death investigators detailing where best to bury bodies...umm... what has happened in the past 48 hours? *Laughs nervously*
People think the pandemic was unique in curtailing people's freedoms but actually our whole life in a democratic society is about sacrificing freedoms for our safety and collective well-being.
This is the same playbook as Trump with the universities. They concede you ask for more ad infinitum until they're gone or useless. Let's hope Rowling never goes for politics
This is why you dont try to compromise or concede anything to these horrors
Katara seeing a bunch of dead turtles: it's beautiful Okay then...
I wonder if they've cancelled Wonder Man so they can offer him Blade?
Casey is an all round good'un and has the best game recs. Signalis and Nine Sols are two I specifically played thanks to her
Wanna do me a little birthday favour? It's a bit of an uphill struggle for me to get eyeballs on my videos, lots of people don't know I have a YouTube channel and I'm working on video essays these days, so if folks could help me out and spread the word? That'd be nice! youtube.com/@caseyexplos...
Possibly the gayest thing I've ever seen in my life
Pope Leo received singer and songwriter Patti Smith in private audience this morning. The Pope and Smith are both Chicago natives. She was accompanied by @antoniospadaro.bsky.social, undersecretary for the Vatican's Dicastery for Culture and Education.
Today is my birthday (turning 30), which is the only time each year when I ask you for a repost should you like my art. Have a good day! 🦦🌿✨️ - Simon
