Every single Republican candidate for governor of Minnesota (including Mike Lindell!) makes clear that if Trump tried another Operation Metro Surge in the Twin Cities, they would support his efforts to brutalize residents

Dyed in the wool Democrat. Liberal, progressive, woke = aware/empathetic/care about others & "the least of these" because there, but for the grace of God, go I. "One person, one vote" levels the playing field & makes EVERY VOTE COUNT EQUALLY.
El-Sayed: "My commitment to Jewish safety is the same commitment that I have to the safety of my own daughters. Because if there is one question of political philosophy that ought to animate us all, it's what would we do if we treated all our kids like they were all of our kids?"
Note to the media: El Sayed isn't running against the Democratic 'establishment' he's running against Mike Rogers. Spend a little more time covering that race and put this manufactured party crisis crap in the rear view mirror.
1/ The New Left / DSA / Bernie types have a huge problem with race. Critically, black voters identify themselves as the Dem base, so when the New Left attacks "the establishment" African Americans take that as directed at them. Stevens also spent years working closely with the AA community.
I hope Stevens is willing to go back out to all of those black churches and barbershops, and really try to help get the skeptical older black folks to get out there & vote for Abdul. I still don’t fully understand why that cohort preferred her over him, but now all that matters is winning.
Not just our democracy. Our literal lives, given MAHA. Our entire national economy and our struggling neighbors, given DOGE. Our communities, given ICE. Any hope of a place in global society given DoD. Any hope of trade, given tariffs. Literally, actually literally, the future of this nation.
Weird how this basic decency has become exceptional. Trump did that
…We need to win this Senate seat, because Elissa Slotkin deserves a partner like Abdul in the U.S. Senate.”
A gracious concession: “I want to congratulate Abdul El-Sayed on winning the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate. He is a doctor, a community health official, a Rhodes Scholar, and a dedicated Michigander. I am proud to offer my support as he takes on Mike Rogers in the general election…
Is it me or did the Capital One affair not really break through On Here Another day, another scandal that would have tanked basically any other presidency

Politics feels corrupt because it is. Billionaire mega-donors aren’t just buying yachts and jets — they’re buying power, and they’re using that power to rig our political system. jamestalarico.com/issue/corrup...

The business of America is not business. Neither is it war. The business of America is justice and securing the blessings of liberty. ~ George Will
This went a little different than his nightly interviews with Sean Hannity.
Did you see how Apple, Amazon Walmart and other big companies are refunding the billions of dollars they got back from the federal tariff settlement to their customers, who ultimately bore the cost of higher prices? Yea, me neither.
