WinUIShell v0.13.0 caught up with GliderUI and now supports data binding! github.com/mdgrs-mei/Wi... Since these two projects share the core system, once you get used to one, you can quickly master the other. If you need cross-platform UIs → GliderUI. If you want Windows native UIs → WinUIShell.

Just published GliderUI v0.3.0 which integrated LiveCharts2, an MIT licensed cross-platform charting library. github.com/mdgrs-mei/Gl... I'd be really happy if someone created Out-ChartView using this😄

Very WIP but my GliderUI implementation of an interface for Splitter is coming along. The GliderUI module is an excellent #PowerShell wrapper for the Avalonia toolkit. Splitter is a tool for working with Windows installtion media. github.com/steviecoaste... to see more!
Experimenting on a LiveCharts2 integration into GliderUI. This chart library is so beautiful with nice animations. In this video I picked a process from the chart similar to Out-GridView -PassThru. #PowerShell

It's the last day of #PSConfEU and this week has been incredibly special. I have so many stories and memories that I want to share, but those will come (including an explanation of that meme) soon enough #PowerShell
Listening to @andrewpla.tech & @mattzaske.com on the #PowerShell pod from #PSHSummit. @mattzaske.com talking about how his module helped me learn and build my own tools. :D One of the many ways that being in and helping the community makes us all better. youtu.be/Y_GDB0e8xHY?...

In less than two weeks, PSConfEU celebrates its 10th edition. I love that this year, for the first time since the one that could have been in 2020, the person who got us all into trouble will be there as well. jsnover.com is back! Are you joining us? psconf.eu

"I am what the kids call spicy brained." That was my icebreaker at #PSHSummit. Three talks, psake v5, Plaster v2, and I bought a domain live on stage. But the thing that really stayed with me? Every person who stopped to say thanks for talking about ADHD. Full recap:
PowerShell Summit 2026: Key Insights and Highlights
Three talks, two releases, one live domain purchase, and a lot of feelings about neurodiversity. My recap of PowerShell Summit 2026.

Did another little #WPF vs #WinUI test. Started a stopwatch at the beginning of main() and stopped it when the root UI element was loaded. WinUI: Average 170ms, WPF: 450ms. (Running on ARM64 12-core Snapdragon X)
Did a fun little comparison between #WPF and #WinUI. Simple app with ListView and 100 items in it. Code as close as possible to each other. The WPF memory usage after a bit of scrolling is just nuts
Spoke w/ Andrew at Summit talking about something I care about: how core modules survive. GitHub orgs, shared permissions, etc. Projects outliving people is the whole point. Also got to share my hot take: PowerShell will become the LLM preferred shell. See the late psake.dev for how we get there!

One thing I love about PowerShell is the deep customizability of terminal workflows. The pwsh process on the terminal is yours. You can store any .Net objects in memory and pass them directly to functions in an assembly without serialization unlike when sending them to external processes.
