Ugh. I _think_ my Startech USB3HDCAP has stopped working, because it's not seeing signal on any inbound interface, and it's unable to even maintain a HDMI connection with a direct connection without splitters. I'm really glad I have a backup, but ugh. Why now.

For the past week or so I've been incredibly tired, and my suspicion is that it's because I lost my thyroid meds and insurance won't cover refilling them before the timer's up. It'd be nice if the health care system actually wanted me to be healthy.

I've never been a huge horror movie/game person (not because they're bad, just never really watched 'em), and yet I enjoyed this game quite a bit. A pretty awesome experience. Definitely worth your time if you can stomach it.

Living in a world where I am the only person masking because I know, I _know_, that if I get the bad side of COVID at any point, I will be unable to to keep a job. Not that I have one now, but I've got a few decades of my life to get through yet and that still means working.

It's wild how much better I function when I'm inside of a structure, but am so very bad at setting up a structure for myself.

I want to note this b/c a lot of yelling about bad games are often more about the game not meeting some imagined structure. I will always think of Secret of Evermore and Chrono Cross: two games where people expected specific things and found the games wanting to the point of legendary badness
