When your party leader is a president with historically low approval ratings, who has raised prices through tariffs and wars, uses disaster relief and science grants to punish states that didnโt vote for him, and has agents shooting people in the streets, this is what you do.
In a country with a president who is such a destructive sore loser, politicians who are both helpful and gracious in defeat is a greatly appreciated novelty.
