Quick update while I sit in the garden with a beer. The next album is done. Toying with the idea of releasing it on my birthday as a present to you all. This one will be pay what you like and probably won't have a physical version unless I make up a handful of CD-Rs.
The Night Album is released tomorrow! I've done a new performance based video for the last track on the album which I"ll pop up in the morning and then the digital will be out at the same time. digitonal.bandcamp.com/album/the-ni... (vinyl shipping on the 10th due to production delays btw).
The other thing to consider is that the only reason to push these out the door is that I need to get them out of my head. I'm not going to release these on the streaming services. That's a mugs game.
There's another pile lined up after the next one which will need more attention. I think I've only got a third of them tracked in properly. Lots of demos and ideas that will need voicing properly and recording individually. Time to clear the decks of all this clutter.
Of course, I'm now listening to the pre-masters of the next album to remind myself where I'd left it. This one should be easier to finish off.
The new album is finished. Got it mastered to the best of my ability and the artwork done. Need to write the blurb and promo emails. Just got to pick a release date. Let me know if you've got a radio show or blog and want to be on the mailing list for preview and review purposes.
