40th Anniversary of Metroid

Decided to update Kohaku's design! I designed her back in 2019 and decided to play around with it tonight. The Puff was drawn by @mrdeepay.bsky.social over a month ago and I didn't think about where it was placed while drawing Kohaku-- Drawn all on Malmal #scittyart

Trip's version is the Egg Scorcher Mk. III (the first main boss of Sonic 3). The "legendary dragon" that's revealed in Superstars was originally mentioned (29 years earlier!!!) in Sonic 3's Japanese manual, so giving this machine to Trip was likely a reference to that.

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

I like the idea of character buffs having "levels" and while it's probably overpowered, I like the idea of Mario getting a second Fire Flower, becoming immune to fire damage, and gaining the SMB3 orange coloration in the process. Downside being one hit still knocks you back to Super.
