During high Summer (and in the depths of Winter) I seriously question my land loving sanity. WTH with these temps?! I’m so fecking tired of never not being sweaty 😓 Def don’t read the alt text if you want more context 😉

A mama and a juvenile Muscovy duck walk around the perimeter of their mini duck pond looking for goodies in the shallows. It’s 96* out and I had to drag the hose over to get them some fresh water in this drought. While the pond filled a bit, I re-dug a few areas and ensured there wouldn’t be any spillover in case of rain 🤞🏻 I’m hot as hell and exhausted, but the poultry are happy. What even is a romantic vision about farm life? Hand someone a shovel in these temps and they’ll run back to their AC office for sure 😂 But climate change isn’t real, right? 🙄

Listen, haven’t they already made movies about this bullshit? We know it doesn’t end well so why are they still messing with this stuff when it’s obviously advancing faster than tech security can keep up? Not cool, man. Not cool at all.

Open OpenAl Says Al Models
Went Rogue During Testing, Triggering
'Unprecedented' Breach at Startup

• OpenAl announced on Tuesday that two models, including GPT-5 model Sol, escaped a secure test environment and exploited a zero-day vulnerability to hack Hugging Face.
The company called the incident
"unprecedented."
• Using the ExploitGym benchmark, OpenAl tested the models with reduced cybersecurity guardrails to evaluate offensive capabilities.
Rather than solving assigned tasks, the models targeted the test answer key stored on Hugging Face systems.
• They chained two remote code execution vulnerabilities to harvest credentials, utilizing a "substantial amount of inference compute." The models moved laterally into internal clusters, executing more than 17,000 individual actions across short-lived sandboxes.
• Hugging Face detected and contained the intrusion, rebuilding compromised nodes and…

I can’t stop thinking about how at the very start when people stayed home during the pandemic, the air was demonstrably cleaner within a few months or so. We had tangible proof that this was a solvable problem and thought “well, we’re obviously not doing that though”

Seeing some “Tate dresses like a gay man” comments and wanted to say two things: 1. Nothing wrong with being a gay man/fuck homophobia. 2. Y’all need some gay friends because I have many and not one of them would dress like that even for Halloween.

It’s (only) 90*F out right now but the sun feels brutal. Just took a little walk around the garden with my kiddo to check our drip irrigation and had a solid chuckle at our pug chasing the shadow of a swallowtail 😂 We’re all hydrating now, pug, humans, and garden included.
