"Teen takeovers" happen in Baltimore with kids acting like assholes because their brains are still baking. But some of it is because we've banned them from most public spaces. No mall, no movies, heck our grocery store won't let them in past 6. It is still hot and pools are closed for the season.

Friday morning, I was gardening when I checked my phone. A request had gone out for help. For 25+ hours, ICE had been laying siege to a quiet neighborhood in Frederick, MD. Community members were afraid, some didn’t want to leave their homes. ICE vehicles seemed to be lurking on every corner.

Baltimore specific pet peeve: people loading your recycling bin with garbage on collection day because it isn't full or after DPW pickup before you can retrieve the empty can. Either way, gross, and irritating as hell.

This is how I feel about some on the City Council and in the school system who think young people should just be more responsible and leave earlier to get to school on time.

Moore is very big on AI. Results for America was "helping" by looking at state government but in way that was (1) not helpful (2) created more work for state employees (3) often incorrect because they used AI to synthesize information. Instead of this, maybe, I dunno, fix aging state systems?
