A web developer of little repute. Started off sarcastic and wound up a cynic. Maryland. "And here I sit so patiently Waiting to find out what price You have to pay to get out of Going through all these things twice" Opinions are my own.

We have the honor to present to you, this year’s SPX 2026 poster done by none other than the recipient of the 2025 Ignatz Award for Outstanding Series, Sanika Phawde! 🥳🥳🥳 To say that we are proud to have this as our poster is an understatement.

New reports reveal the Trump administration has detained over 50 military spouses and parents. ICE has fully deported at least 6 people and 8 family members of US service members remain in detention centers.

My assumption is that if El-Sayed wins and gets the party to rally around him he’ll get a meaningful bump in the polls. But in last week of the primary 3 general election polls had him trailing Rogers. It’s some of the worst polling we’ve seen from any battleground Senate candidate this cycle.

Polling is so broken in this country, why do we even put stock in it? I thought this was supposed to be a double digit romp. No wonder Stevens seemed so confident down the stretch, her polling probably showed she still had a good shot

Abdul El-Sayed has won Michigan’s slugfest of a Democratic Senate primary, NBC News projects, clinching the nomination over Rep. Haley Stevens and establishing a Midwest beachhead for a progressive left on the march this midterm cycle.

I kinda hoped Grayson would have shut us down, showed up the organization for not believing in him. I feel bad for the dude, he looks broken mentally and physically.

I was watching a Rick Beato video about how no one plays guitar in the park anymore, and I was thinking how rarely I see teenagers in public parks, because that was what my friends and I would do at that age. I don't see groups of 13~19 year olds in public spaces anymore...

albernaz said O's are going to give newly acquired Christian Franklin a shot. This is my biggest beef with Elias and the team and is imo why we're in a situation where they dealt Adley. They would rather give other teams' castoffs and retreats playing time over our own supposedly valued prospects

August 4, 1990: Kenny Anderson's shows off his handles during an exhibition game in Atlanta against the Soviet Union prior to the 1990 World Championships. Anderson scored 23 PTS and Billy Owens added 18 PTS for the United States in a 98-73 win.

”We have nothing to fear but fear itself” was a great, succinct description of markets as social phenomena, and this year has shown that there’s a corollary “everything is great if we all believe together that it is” to some degree as well.

HUGE: Under Mayor Mamdani, New York City just recorded its safest first 7 months of a year in history—and its safest July ever. In July: Major crime dropped 13% Murder dropped 32% Robberies dropped 15% Vehicle thefts dropped 25% Democratic mayors are putting public safety first.

Chuds could have their own bubble here too if they want. But they don't, because what they want is to force their garbage takes in everyone else's face.

My 2¢: Adley was a dead man walking once Basallo entered the picture and in a small sample size indicated he could have a higher ceiling. So I'm not surprised. This recent squad of draft picks (tank squad?) seemed to largely peak early and do not look like the organizational cornerstones we hoped

So OnlyFans did not want to be a porn site. Its users chose that for it, and forced it to support their needs. Schneider seems to be picking his words deliberately so I'll take him literally. As big a fan of AT Protocol as I am, the only reason this whole project is as successful as it is...

Bluesky's new CEO Toni Schneider on the platform's reputation for being a liberal bubble: "Yes, we definitely want that to change. It is already changing. It certainly wasn’t designed to attract one specific group of people."
