Iran and Oman have reportedly agreed that all ships transiting Hormuz have to go through an Iran-controlled corridor, and are finalizing tolls of 3, 5, or 7%. This would close off the path outside Iranian waters the US encouraged ships to use during the MOU, then started bombing again to keep open.

I am curious about whether Point Break is now considered a “classic”. It hasn’t gone away, true, but it’s still dumb as a skipping stone. Time has done nothing to make any of the plot points make sense

The rurals believe that Nationalism and Socialism are two great flavors that go well together.

My assumption is that if El-Sayed wins and gets the party to rally around him he’ll get a meaningful bump in the polls. But in last week of the primary 3 general election polls had him trailing Rogers. It’s some of the worst polling we’ve seen from any battleground Senate candidate this cycle.

Polling is so broken in this country, why do we even put stock in it? I thought this was supposed to be a double digit romp. No wonder Stevens seemed so confident down the stretch, her polling probably showed she still had a good shot
