I hope the Cornell Seven never know a day of peace ever again. I hope the shame and stench of their actions follow them around for the rest of their miserable lives. I want there to be justice for this young woman but we live in a country that rarely makes the perpetrators of sex crimes pay.

Current read, I love this series so much and I waited to make this my final audio read of the month. It is GRIPPING.

This was so good (very steamy) but also has on page death of a loved one and related grief so while I definitely recommend this (and the other 2 books in the series), I do want to make sure readers know there’s some heavy emotional stuff in this one.

I’ve realized that sometimes I stress bake and other times, I stress organize. Today was a stress organize day. Which led to the realization that my husband randomly keeps empty boxes, like he’ll take the stuff out, it’s being used, and also the empty box is just…sitting there. WHY???

My spouse is not on any social media and has never heard of the term “trad wives” until tonight when I explained it to him and had him watch a Nara Smith video (“why is her voice like that?” and “is this satire?” and “what is she wearing??”) and well, that was a fun evening.

5 star banger - I am iffy on fake dating tropes in a contemporary romance but this one between a grumpy small town doctor and a struggling single mom really worked for me on every single level. Plus it's dual POV and dual narration, if you like that sort of thing (which I do, very much).
