Spent some time today improving comic matching for backup copies from @sweetshop.app , so self-hosted comic server folks can add metadata (ComicInfo.xml, MetronInfo.xml) to the PDF. That's my use case too — I don't want to be Mr. Magoo-ing it while reading on a tablet. #comics
Finally got my @sweetshop.app invite, and spent last night exploring it a bit. Overall, a real nice experience. The killer feature for me is tho, the ability to download backup copies since I've been burned in the past with some digital stores. *Looks at Amazon / ComiXology* #Comics

agree with this. it really is what i've always hoped for in digital comics. (it also has this thing that doesn't sound like a big deal but when you're in swipe mode, the pages go flush to the top and bottom of screen. CMX and NI have this thing where it stops like a half inch early I HATE IT)
