I don't know if Netanyahu *literally* told Trump to go f*ck himself in response to Trump begging Israel to reduce its ceasefire-killing attacks on Lebanon, but surely that's the *implicit* message behind Israel continuing to pound the sh*t out of that nation. Weakest POTUS ever.

This is why I beg people to stop saying “ICE” for everything. Border Patrol personnel are googobs worse than any other organization, legal or criminal. And there’s SO MUCH documented evidence of their cruelty. They need to be called out. Don’t let them hide behind another org and not be exposed.

BREAKING: The two federal immigration agents who fired on Minneapolis protester Alex Pretti are identified in government records as Border Patrol agent Jesus Ochoa and Customs and Border Protection officer Raymundo Gutierrez.

White Americans are learning once again that the *only* thing that has ever made you safe from fascism is being willing to sacrifice non-white people. That is your contract with white supremacy. "Give us someone else so it won't be you."

He had a license to own and carry. MN is an open carry state. Lots of people here legally carry guns in plain sight. If you’re helping a woman on the ground, Border Patrol can tackle you, take your legal gun, kill you with it, and walk away, celebrated as a cool badass by 50% of the USA.

Oh my god. The ICEr who pulled the gun off Pretti negligently (or perhaps knowingly) fired the weapon, and that's what spooked the other ICEr to unload his clip into Pretti www.reddit.com/r/ICE_Watch/...

they're executing moms and nurses in the street. they're using preschoolers as bait. they're stealing people's dads and grandmas and children. they're tear gassing babies. they're staking out schools. there is no remedy but abolition. any proposal that doesn't start there is an act of violence.

Don’t listen to this political strategist. There are literal families who are starving, people who do not have enough for rent, businesses with eviction letters, and neighbors who are hiding. Help communities out instead and it will actually have an impact.

I've launched a campaign to raise money for the Democratic Party of Minnesota (@dfl.org) to help them combat ICE's lawless assault. MN Dem Chair Richard Carlbom joined me for the kickoff. I can't help but feel I experienced the world in microcosm on the way to the shop today. I saw a queue of cars stuck trying to enter a single lane tunnel. I thought the roadworks on the other side must have caught everyone out with the different traffic lights. Then I got closer. 1/9

You and your wife drop your 6-year-old off at school. You just moved here. You see ICE terrorizing your new neighbors. You film them, as is your legal right. Your wife complies with orders. She is then shot in the head. You still have to pick up your child later today. This could be you.

Distraught woman says ICE killed her wife in video after deadly Minneapolis shooting
"They killed my wife," the distraught woman says, adding, "They shot her in the head."
An ICE agent shot and killed a 37-year-old woman who was driving an SUV in Minneapolis on Wednesday. / Screenshot/@Breaking911"They killed my wife. I don't know what to do," the woman says through sobs in the footage, with a damaged SUV visible in the distance behind her. "We stopped to videotape, and they shot her in the head," the woman cries.
"We have a six-year-old at school," she says, almost unable to breathe, as a chaotic scene in which federal officers prevented at least one doctor who was on the scene from assisting the shot victim unfolds. "We're new here," the distraught woman says in despair.

ProPublica spoke to about 150 people who had lived in homeless encampments when cities cleared them out in “sweeps.” We distributed notecards so people could tell us about the toll in their own words. ➡️ This is what they wrote: https://propub.li/3MTlm33

Handwritten notecard. Prompt at the top asks: What object was most devastating for you to lose, and how have you been coping? Answer below: Dentures. Were thrown away and coping isn't somthing I can do. It’s made me feel ugly, unworthy, can’t go get a job with no teeth. So how can get off the streets until another pair can be made?

These people act like Trump has incredibly high polling numbers. And that 35% of eligible voters aren’t staying home instead of voting in presidential elections. It’s just lazy. To create a party that would be popular enough to attract 35% of voters to START VOTING takes courage. And work (gasp!).

Saving America from Trump and preserving our democracy explicitly requires that people who voted for Trump change their mind. Which in turn requires that those who didn’t vote for Trump show grace and empathy to those whose change of heart came from being hurt by the guy they voted for…

“We are treated as background figures, when in reality we are holding the entire structure together.” Whewww. None of the billions the “awareness” industry collects has changed a thing in my dad’s journey. His meds are from 15+ years ago and none of us were unaware Alzheimer’s existed. 🙄

Every time a politician speaks on a stage, a staff member should be positioned so they can see the people on the stage. It’s so simple. Not doing the simple shit is how pics of governors talking at a dais next to a person flashing the white power sign go viral. 🙄 Idiots.

FFS 1. You aren't "resisting" Trump by co-signing on his surge approach to "ending" crime 2. Pretty soon, the majority of this country is just going to accept that the answer to crime is total policing, surveillance, and police presence EVERYWHERE foxbaltimore.com/newsletter-d...
