Dear Seattle media: Has anyone checked on the search for the third Seattle Center shooting suspect lately? Or on how the survivors and victims' families are coping? Asking on behalf of roughly 850,000 friends.
Identity is certainly important, but it isn't a substitute for interrogation. Just because a policy is championed by a Black voice doesn't mean it serves Black lives. Power can cynically use representation like it uses anything else, as an instrument to disguise its interests as our own.
