In parallel to #root harvest: non-destructive #mucilage sampling: @withanage.bsky.social of @unituebingen.bsky.social targets #BNF of #maize mucilage, supportee by Akila Chandima in his Bachelor thesis. Crossing fingers that the amount of mucilage will be sufficient for mol-bio and trait analysis 💪

First greenhouse screening of the #MultiStress @dfg.de RU to select the six Kenyan genotypes. Thanks Issaka Abdulai for organizing such huge experiment @uni-goettingen.de & Irsa Eyza for joining the above-ground team. First harvest is nearly completed & we look forward to our first exciting results!
