Occasionally I run across the question of whether Charles Schulz invented the term "good grief!", used so frequently in Peanuts. He wasn't even the one who introduced it to the comic page. "Tillie the Toiler" used it 16 times in 1921, before Schulz was born.

Tillie the Toiler sits at a dining table, saying "Good grief! Is he. ever going to bring that sandwich? The service is terriblle."

I never tried Assam tea until I walked into Trader Joe's and now it seems to be discontinued (according to the person stocking the tea shelves section at my local store), so can anyone recommend an alternative brand that comes close? 🫖☕️

Today is the birthday of artist Bernard Krigstein (March 22, 1919-Jan. 8, 1990). He drew for EC Comics & Mad magazine, and illustrated books, magazines, & albums. Also a painter & teacher, he is best remembered in comics for Master Race, the 1955 EC Comics story about the horrors of the holocaust.
