Sex is both mutable and socially constructed. Trans people change sex. This change comes in a wide variety of forms, social, medical, legal, etc. Trans liberation hinges on the rights to enact and shape these changes, and protections against discrimination for doing so.

i hate that this topic tends to bring out the worst in people when you try to politely say being a trans man isn't easy. because people see any complaints from trans men and then quickly but in to say "well—you don't have it that bad" we're shunned into silence or told we're just misguided women.
