Fun silly boy Comedian Really leaning into being stupid lately Magic: The Gathering, EDH player, EDHREC and Commander’s Herald writer #mtg Podcasts: Am I The Bolcast? linktr.ee/mikecarrozza linktr.ee/amithebolas Yaaaaay🤠

I fucking hate AI almost as much as I hate the sniveling asshole billionaires and shithole corporations who have all forced it into every conceivable spot in our lives. It literally makes everything worse and it makes us worse and I fucking hate it.

AI erodes any trust people have in your business and I hope companies learn that soon soon. The negative impact of AI is so widespread and people are fucked and yet it’s still being shoved down our throat by the billionaire class. I wish them a downfall that leads to universal basic income.

A big reason I never took to TikTok was that you have to develop that one expression where you're smiling but your eyes are visibly peering into the realm between the living and the dead

I’ve been doing comedy stuff so aggro recently that I’ve barely looked at Hobbit stuff and haven’t even bought Marvel singles. Overwhelmed but my Commander decks still play well so I guess I’m just gonna be like this from now on? Maybe a new legend gets me to brew but if I’m hitting a wall…hmm

Thanks for all the kind words about the Bolcast ending. Lots of sweet messages and comments, friends chatting about it at their EDH nights and letting me know I’m really touched! Thanks so much everybody! Onto the next thing soon. Couple episodes left to record!

Informal as hell but an announcement nonetheless. Bolcast is ending. Recording two more episodes and calling it. Thanks to @load3r.bsky.social @indigogentleman.bsky.social and @gamesfreaksa.bsky.social for the ride as well as a ton of other people who helped and guested along the way

Nobody talks about how we're all paying $15 for sandwiches now and just pretending that's normal. Five years ago that same sandwich was $8. The price doubled and the only explanation we got was "supply chain issues" which apparently means "forever."

Monopoly implies that the holders directly or indirectly work to stop new entrants into the field. No musician or artist has ever or could ever stop you from simply deciding to work on the skill and also become a musician or artist. The fact that you decline to isn't a market conspiring against you.

AI users describing talent as a "monopoly". I've never looked at a musician and thought "they have a monopoly". They have a SKILL that I DON'T, meaning if someone wants a tune written, they go to THEM and not ME. Insecure, work-shy neurotics are actually trying to VILIFY skill.
