GMed a game of #Dolmenwood at last night’s open table #TTRPG event -- third game I’ve run at these events in the last four months. (Opted to play instead last month - PF2E, which was a good time with a great group, but confirmed that systems like PF and 5E are just too crunchy for me) [1/]

Ended up running The Waking of Willowby Hall in #Shadowdark, for 4 players, at the local open table #TTRPG event on Friday. I had never played or run Shadowdark (or the adventure) before. I thought it was a lot of fun, and got a similar impression from the players. Main takeaways -- [1/]

#Shadowdark question for #OSR / #TTRPG folks - Prepping a one-shot for the monthly open table event this week (but hoping the other potential GM comes through). Looking to run Waking of Willowby Hall with the Futurewolf conversion notes, and need some guidance. [1/]

Follow-up to my #TTRPG / #OSR post from earlier in the week -- Ran Electric Bastionland last night, for four players, at an open table event at a local gaming cafe. It was one of two games on offer for the evening -- the other being Daggerheart, which (I think) drew a slightly larger crowd. [1/]

Need some guidance from the #TTRPG / #OSR folks - Might be running Electric Bastionland at an open table this weekend. 3 hours, mix of 5e, BX, and PbtA players. Leaning towards the “Prison of the Worm Queen” module. Haven’t GMed in 20 years. Any advice re: EB or this module, or in general? [1/]

Barbarian Sci-fi Game Zine you-know-what-ing next week. Hand drawn. Bespoke 2d6 system. Print and play. Share this post and one or two might fall off the truck early! If you wanna review copy for your blog, pm me. You aren't gonna wanna miss this one!
