Next Tuesday I will be the same age to the day as Bryan Cranston was when the pilot of Malcolm in the Middle premiered. I’ve had it on my calendar as “My Cranston Day” for a few months.

Watched the Oscars on a tape delay and I am thrilled that Zach Cregger and Maya Rudolph got thanked in the exact same way I was thrilled to hear Michael Showalter get thanked.

My neighbor's dad took us to see Major League when we were both 6. When we got home, I spent months telling my parents how it was the funniest movie ever made. I wish I had a hidden camera of their reaction when we rented it as a family when it finally came to home video. Their horror.

11 years ago tonight, my wife and I watched Chris Hemsworth host SNL. At midnight we drove to the hospital and 9 1/2 hours later we had a daughter.

It’s March and a house on our block still has their outdoor Christmas decorations up. The inflatable ornaments have deflated into shriveled balls.
